The on point and the questionable outfits of the 2018 SAMAs

Every year the SAMAs bring wwith it a mixed bunch of fashion statements which last a lifetime.

The theme this year was 'Glammed Up' and some took it to the next level for sure. Celebs filled Sun City with their enterpretation of the theme and weel, let's just say that some were a tad more 'glam' than others, reported Times Live.

From jaw dropping gowns to perfectly tailored suits, the red carpet was on fire. However, it sported some head turners and not for the riight reasons.

Briefly.co.za gathered that some celds clearly do not understand the meaning of glamourous.

We take a look at some of the bes and some of the worst outfits of the 2018 SAMAs:

The real glam jaw droppers

1. Nomuzi Mabena

Old school glam at it's best. She rocked this tassely gold number.

2. Loot Love

This pale pink dress velvet dress screams fierce. Probably the best dress of the evening.

The wrong reason head turners

1. Lasizwe

Some say his stylist ran out of material and reached into a drag queens wig draw to cover the shoulders. This red number was definetly a crowd stopper.

2. Ricky Rick

There are just no words for this one...

Aside from the outfits, there were a lot of complaints regarding the quality of the production this year. It was said to have been of poor quality for an event of such stature.

From the above, it is clear to say that the girl's definetly understood the theme far better than the boys. What a wow.
