- Neymar opens the scoring in the Selecao's victory against Croatia
- Firmino also got on the score sheet in the last minute of the match
- Brazil produce another impressive display ahead of the World Cup
Brazil recorded a 2-0 victory over Croatia in a warm up friendly played at Liverpool's home ground Anfield.
Both sides fielded their first team squad but there were no goals registered in the first 45 minutes of the match as chances were few and far in between.
However, Paris Saint-Germian striker Neymar who came in for Fernandinho just after the restart got the curtain raiser in the 69th minute from a brilliant individual effort.
The ex-Barcelona star received a pass from Philippe Coutinho from the left as he dribbled his way past two defenders before unleashing a shot into the roof of the net.
The five-time World Champions were undone yet as Liverpool striker finished off the scoring after he was given time and space in the box to loop the goalkeeper.
The match ended 2-0 in favour of the Selecao and coach Tite will be happy with the remarkable display from Neymar who is gradually getting back to full fitness.
Brazil have been grouped alongside Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica when the tournament kicks off in less than two weeks time.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the Super Eagles narrowly lost to England by 2-1 in the showdown at Wembley.
Two first half goals from Gary Cahill and Harry Kane gave the Three Lions a two-goal advantage at half time while Alex Iwobi pulled one back after the restart.
