Actress Michelle Mosalakae falls victim of scam around an MTN account

Actress Michelle Mosalakae has been left fuming after someone allegedly opened a fraudulent account at cellphone services provider MTN in her name.

Michelle took to Twitter to vent her frustration with MTN for failing to address the matter despite her repeated requests, learned.

The popular actress said the whole incident left her "sweating behind the ears."

Michelle explained that despite submitting all the required documents at an MTN office at the Mall of Africa in Midrand, she has received no response.

Now she claims lawyers contacted her regarding the account, which she knows nothing about.

The actress wondered how someone was able to gain access to her confidential information in order to open the account.

MTN replied to Michelle's tweets and asked her to submit her details and reference numbers regarding the issue.

Michelle starred recently in Mzansi Magic's popular soapie Isibiya. Besides acting, she's also a writer and theatre director.
