Siyabonga Dube gave back to his mom for all the years she spent supporting him and making sure that his dreams became a reality.
The Lamontville Golden Arrows right-back chose to use his money to buy his mom a house rather than blowing it on flashy cars and women, .
Dube still uses public transport as he felt that buying his mom, Thulekile Dube, a house in Lamontville was more of a priority.
He is the youngest of three children. Dube has an older brother who is the eldest and an older sister who is the middle child. He supports his entire family, reported Sunday World.
Before he bought the house for his mother, they all lived in his grandmother’s small house.
Dube expressed how thankful he was for all the sacrifices his mother had to endure for him. He said that she was selfless in her acts and deserved the world.
Briefly.co.za learnt that he bought her the house to say thank you for everything she has done for him and his siblings.
“This house is her reward for taking care of us under trying conditions."
He is blessed with a mother of gold and said that it is because of her he did not get into ‘things like drugs’.
Dube’s father passed away when he was just a small boy so his mother had to take on the role of father as well. She stepped up and played the role of both parents.
Dube is now a father himself. His two-year-old princess, Lisakhanya, is his biggest fan. She attended 16 Abafana Bes'thende matches this season.
He has become a wonderful father and a model man. His mother definitely has many reasons to be proud.
