Inspirational young lawyer celebrates admission as High Court attorney

- Tebello Kutoane has been admitted as an attorney of the High Court

A young and inspiring lawyer is celebrating her admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Tebello Kutoane, who refers to herself as "your sister-in-law," took to Twitter to make the announcement, Briefly.co.za learned. She shared photos of herself with the caption:

Your Sister In Law is an ADMITTED ATTORNEY OF THE HIGH COURT OF SOUTH AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Celebrate with meeeee.

Besides her new achievement as an attorney, Tebello is founder of Midrand-based consultancy firm, Collective Intelligence.

The company is fully black- and female-owned. It provides legal advice for individuals and startup businesses.

In a recent interview with forwomeninlaw.blogspot.com, Tebello said young women need to be brave enough to pursue their dreams. She added:

I want to create a platform where a black, female attorney can be judged on merit and not what she can do for a company’s BEE rating.
