A shocking story has gone viral on social media after the family of a late woman identified as Kathleen Dehmlow published a short and unkind obituary for her in a newspaper. The shocking obituary is a five paragraph script with a total of 105 words.
According to the very detailed short obituary, the woman who was born in 1938, had gotten married to Dennis Dehmlow when she was 19 years old. She had two children, Gina and Jay, for Dennis.
The marriage reportedly collapsed in 1962, after Kathleen became pregnant for her husband's brother Lyle Dehmlow. After she got pregnant, she moved to California from Minnesota, where she lived with her kids and husband.
Kathleen left her children behind to be raised by her parents Clement and Joseph Schunk. The woman passed away on Thursday, May 31.
In the obituary, the children who felt abandoned by their mother stated that she would not be missed, adding that the world is a better place without her.
The obituary reads: "Kathleen Dehmlow (Schunk) was born on March 19, 1938, to Joseph and Gertrude Schunk of Wabasso. She maaried Dennis Dehmlow at St Anne's in Wabasso in 1957 and had two children Gina and Jay.
"In 1962 she became pregnant by her husband’s brother Lyle Dehmlow and moved to California. She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were then raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schunk."
“She passed away on May 31, 2018 in Springfield and will now face judgement. She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand that this world is a better place without her.”
