Lady loses fiancé day before exam, summons strength to sit for it

A brave lady has shared how she summoned strength to sit for her final exam at university despite losing her fiancé a day before it.

Lesego Mabusela shared her experience with Metro FM's The Bridge hosts, Dineo Ranaka and Lerato Kganyago, Briefly.co.za learned.

Writing on Twitter, Lesego said losing her fiancé derailed her future plans and left her distraught.

However, she said to herself that although the love of her life was gone, she was still alive and needed to complete the exam to get her degree.

She therefore bravely sat for the exam in order to secure her future.

Lesego's story touched a number of Twitter users, including another lady named Lebo, who shared her own story.

Lebo said she also lost her mom just a day before her final exam but she too went on to sit for it and pass.
