Da L.E.S opened up about some of the stories in his life on Behind The Story, a show hosted by actress Pearl Thusi which explores some of the most controversial stories in Mzansi's most famous people's lives.

Following his story, social media users took to Twitter to highlight their most favourite parts of the interview, where they learned things about Da L.E.S they did not know.

So, Briefly.co.za gathered four of the things tweeps loved the most of the South African rapper.

1. He knows when to man up

During the interview with Thusi, Da L.E.S admitted he wronged his baby mama and said he apologised to her. This went down well with tweeps who believe only a real man can own up to his mistakes.

2. He's not that full of himself

TimesLIVE pointed out a lot of tweeps felt Da L.E.S was actually a humble and nice guy, contradictory to the popular believe that he's full of himself.

3. He is not afraid to admit he did not start at the bottom

A lot of rappers use their struggling back grounds in their music- and some even lie about not being poor when they were younger.

Tweeps applauded Da L.E.S for being honest about his upbringing and not trying to sell the struggling rapper thing.

4. He has a soft spot for women, and not in a creepy way

The rapper preached some truth when he told men to treat women with the respect they deserve.
