Social media users are left excited after Noyvest and L-Tido made plans to show each other their football skills in a friendly match made up with two celebrity teams.

The plans started with Nyovest calling out the hip hop artist on always talking smack about his football skills, yet he never saw him play.

“Yo, you’ve always said you play soccer but I’ve never seen you. How about a 5 on 5 SA hip hop celebrity match? Teach you how to score goals. .@L_Tido”, Novest wrote.

And, apparently L-Tido is not one to shy away from a challenge, so he agreed to Nyovest request. But, Nyovet just wanted to make sure his fellow musician plays fair.

“Okay lit but don’t be recruiting your broers from Alex who almost played for Kaizer chiefs. Bo skwama !! Only SA hip hop, management, rappers, producers are cool. Eseng bo skwama please ?”, Nyovest commented.

Briefly.co.za learned L-Tido’s tweet prompted their followers to give ideas for possible teams.

However, some tweeps felt they wanted to propose a new idea- how about rappers vs their fans?
