Unemployed engineering graduate resorts to Twitter in job search

An unemployed electrical engineering graduate from Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, has resorted to Twitter to appeal for help in her job search.

Sanda Gcwabe posted a photo of herself in her graduation gown along with her appeal recently, Briefly.co.za learned.

She said she holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, has one year of experience, and is willing to relocate if need be.

South Africans on Twitter demonstrated just how helpful and caring they are by retweeting her appeal over 3,000 times.

Many of them also shared opportunities in companies that are currently hiring. See some of their reactions below.
