South African political research expert and analyst, Prince Mashele, had his say recently and, boy, did he say it.

Mashele seems quite tired of the way the ANC has been governing South Africa.

He discussed black employment and got a little excited during an interview on Tuesday evening.

The ANC has reached a dead end when it comes to economic ideas. If you look at the past 24 years, they have failed to produce black industrialists.

Mashele feels that black people looking for jobs won't be employed by a black industrialist, but rather a white one.

Cyril Ramaphosa hasn't stated how he will help black people produce spoons for themselves and employ each other.
So forget about the New Dawn, its absolutely nothing. It's hot air.

Mashele was clearly upset at this point, but had more on his chest. He then spoke about how useless he thinks BEE has been for black people.

This Black Empowerment thing, they must just scrap it. I'll tell you what. The Afrikaners were once poor, the English were in charge of the mines and the economy.
You know that the Afrikaners dug themselves out of the hole of poverty without an empowering scheme by the English.

Mashele went on to say that Afrikaners started businesses and gave employment to their own.

He remains adamant that black people need black industrialists to employ them.

Clearly, Mashele is sick and tired of the state of South Africa's economy.

He is not the only one. South Africans everywhere are bemoaning the state of the country.

An anonymous South African has also been the talk of the town lately when the person's fed up opinion was shared.

I loathe to have to share the realities of life here in good ol’ S of A, and always choose to just focus on family (or my cats), but here I am, incredibly gatvol…
Why am I still here?
Interesting priorities in politics in South Africa.
Petrol price highest ever, unemployment at worst levels, housing backlogs, disgraceful education levels, disastrous service delivery, militant and racist unions wrecking hospitals.
Crime out of control, innocent civilians… slaughtered on a daily basis, general lawlessness, a sense of entitlement and belief under communities that violence is the answer to everything, a culture of looting under tinpot politicians, discrimination against minorities on the basis of skin colour, general decay and bankruptcy of municipalities, SOE’s and R2 trillion national debt.
But none of these things are more important than renaming airports – a national priority…”

South Africans want and need change. Cyril Ramaphosa and the ANC will have to prove to South Africans that they can put their money where their mouths are before the elections in 2019.
