- Pearl Thusi has been single for quite a while
- While she has been slaying it professionally, and as a single mom, it seems she is missing having a special someone in her life
- Pearl Thusi Tweeted about what it is like to be single in winter, and Tweeps agreed
Pearl Thusi recently tweeted about just how lonely winter really is. In what looks like a reach for empathy, the star tweeted “Finish this… Winter without a man is like… “
And Tweeps rose to the challenge with their answers to this sentiment:
It was clear there are many who sympathise with just how Thusi seems to be feeling:
Pearl Thusi has been known to be vocal about her “singleness” and her struggle to find true love and settle down.
Following on from her split with Robert Marawa, there were rumours that she had found love again.
However, the radio and television personality was quick to let her fans know just how tough she was finding it to love and settle down.
DailyMail reported in March how Thusi has been single for eight months following her split with Marawa and Briefly.co.za reported on just how much she was making this singleness work for her. In the article she stated that
“I’ve been single for eight months. The truth is, I struggle to get into a relationship in South Africa because I’m afraid of why somebody will be getting in a relationship with me or why I’m getting into a relationship with them. I can’t even play with someone because, for me, it’s like, who are they gonna tell, am I a trophy, and there are all these other things I need to think of,” she said.
In our article, Who needs a man? 5 Famous moms slaying it as a single parent, we reported on just how well Thusi was handling life as a single mom.
Despite her busy schedule, which requires a lot of travelling, the actress always makes time for her daughter. But, she has admitted it’s not always great being a single mother, especially on her birthday and Mother’s Day.
Hopefully Thusi is still optimistic about love and will remember her own words:
“I’m still optimistic but I’ve decided to open up the borders and keep my mind open and keep my relationship opportunities quite democratic in terms of race. One thing I’ve learned is, if I’m not a hundred percent, I can’t expect to be completed by somebody else, I want for us to create fireworks as two complete people who are going to make the world a better place.”
