A beautiful South African woman called Glori Rapalalani represented the country in Atlanta, Georgia, when she graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)- and she had Oprah to help.
Rapalalani took to social media to share a post about her graduation from SCAD, a private, non-profit, accredited university with locations in several countries, including Hong Kong, France and America.
“Hope my ancestors are rejoicing because I truly am their wildest dreams. I am because they were.”, she captioned the post on Twitter.
A lot of tweeps pointed out in one photo American talk show royalty Oprah Winfrey was hugging her.
Brielfy.co.za learned the Fashion Marketing and Management graduate had help from Oprah to succeed.
In an Instagram post with the same photo, Rapalalani shared a sweet message about Oprah, whom she called her human angel.
“My angel in human form. The woman who saw greatest in me before I could. My heart will forever be overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has been part of my journey”, part of her caption read.
On her graduation day, Rapalalani also wrote the following on social media:
“I still cannot believe I graduated this past Saturday. God’s grace has been so good to me, and at times I don’t know what I did to deserve it. Grateful for those who came before me, they all made this moment possible. I truly am my ancestor’s wildest dreams. It’s only the beginning, up and onwards.”
