We can all agree that moms are already pretty amazing as is but some moms have gone above and beyond and have achieved some very impressive feats.

1. Smallest mom to give birth
Stacy Herald is the smalled mom to give birth, at 70cm tall and suffering from brittle bone disease she gave birth to not only one but three children.
2. First Man To Give Birth
This might be a bit a grey area but technically giving birth does make you a mom. Thomas Beatie became the first man to give birth in 2008. Thomas is actually transgender and was born a woman but chose to become a man at 23 but chose to keep his reproductive organs.
3. Most Babies To Survive A Single Birth
Nadya Suleman made history when she gave birth to six boys and two girls and was dubbed the 'Octomom'. She faced a storm of criticism but all her kids turned out healthy.
4. Most Breastmilk Donated By A Mother
A mom in North Texas donated a whopping 329 litres of milk to Mother's Milk Bank in the United States of America. She donated her milk to help those moms who are unable to breastfeed.
5. Longest Pregnancy
The longest pregnancy recorded took place back in 1945 with Beulah Hunter who was pregnant for 375 days. There is little evidence to support this outside of eyewitness accounts. The baby was said to have developed very slowly resulting in the long pregnancy.
6. Most Number Of Children Had By One Woman
Feodor Vasillyev gave birth to 69 children in the mid 18th century. She is said to have given birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.
7. Oldest First Time Mother
Rajo Devi Lohan is the oldest recorded first time mom. She gave birth to her first child at 70 after 40 years of trying to conceive. The pregnancy was made possible through IVF.
8. First ‘Test Tube’ Mother
Louise Joy Brown became the first mom to a 'test tube' baby in July of 1978. She was the first mom to give birth to a healthy baby through the use of IVF. Thanks to her and many other brave women the practice is common today.
9. Longest Gap Between Twins
Maria Jones–Elliott gave birth to her twin daughters in a very unventional way, they were born four months apart. After the first twin was born she stopped having contractions. The first baby was born early and the doctors decided to let the other baby have more time to develop and it was delivered four months later.
