R37 000 nightclub bill: It wasn't me - Siyabulela Sintwa

A drama involving Jacob Zuma's former personal assistant and a ditched bill of R37 000 recently made entertainment headlines.

According to reports, Siyabulela Sintwa stranded a group of ladies at the Zero13 Lifestyle Club.

Sowetan Live reports Siya left the women with an enormous bill at the, but claims he was nowhere near the Zero13 Lifestyle Club in Mbombela.

Siya states he was in Johannesburg on the 27th - when the ditch allegedly happened - and went to Cape Town where he has been since.

Social media was set abuzz when Siya was linked to a video being shared of a group of women who were left with a hefty bill of R37 340.

Among the ordered food and drinks were champagne worth more than R25 000, hard liquor worth more than R4 000, and food and ciders worth almost R6 000.

Briefly.co.za learned that the Zero13 Lifestyle Club has stated that there was no ditch at all.

The bill in question was paid in full and there was no problems to speak of.
