Isithembiso actress Ziya Xulu has shared a touching story of how an old lady religiously tells her that she's beautiful with her dark complexion.
Writing on Twitter, Ziya said although she was at first confused, she appreciated the old lady's kind words.
However, she later learned that the lady's 20-year-old daughter recently ended her own life after being constantly bullied for her dark complexion.
Ziya said this discovery left her "shattered." Her tweet has gone absolutely viral, racking up a massive 83,000 retweets and 450,000 likes so far, Briefly.co.za learned.
The story touched the hearts of thousands of Twitter users, with many of them expressing sympathy for the unnamed old lady and her daughter.
