- Television presenter Lorna Maseko has struck gold with the new position she was offered by the international car manufacturer Mercedes Benz, who wanted her as an official "friend"
- Being a "friend" means that she will be the official brand representative and will be the first to know about and talk about anything new, hot and happening with Mercedes
- She has already been promoting the luxury brand when she bought herself a white Mercedes Benz convertible in May, which she has been showing off all over social media
The new face of Mercedes Benz has been announced and it's Lorna Maseko. She will serve as brand representative for the company for the duration of the one-year contract.
Briefly.co.za gathers that being a friend means that she will be at the forefront of any new products that are released by the company. She will also represent them on social media and give the public sneak previews of new arrivals.
This is a very big step forward in her career. It is also a step forward for Mercedes Benz in terms of brand promotion specifically to the South African market. According to The South African, she has been called a true reflection of the black diamond excellence in the country.
Mercedes Benz feels very confident in their choice. They told The South African that “Lorna’s success and glamorous lifestyle is a reflection of what’s hip, hot and happening thus making the collaboration the ‘perfect partnership’."
The former ballerina and television personality has long been recognized for her talent. She became famous as a presenter on Top Billing and more recently hosted her own lifestyle and cooking show on SABC3 called The Hostess. Her career seems to be taking off in leaps and bounds.
