A video of a group of pupils from the Northwood School in Durban North doing the ‘vosho’ has lit up social media.
A tweep, who uses the Twitter handle @ZULUMKHATHINI, took to social media to share a 15-second-long clip of the Northwood boys doing the ‘head vosho’.
“JUST SAW THIS CLIP AND IT BROUGHT BACK SO MANY MEMORIES! This is my old high school Northwood boys high...and this is just basically what we got up to everyday Dubane #UniformSwag”, he captioned the video on Twitter.
The clip gathered a massive reaction from social media users and has since its publication on 29 May 2018 received over 374 000 views.
Social media users enjoyed the footage, and some even said the video was too short, they wanted more.
North Glen News reported the school’s marketing manager, Jenni-Lyn van Niekerk, said the video was filmed after an assembly.
“They were gearing up for Old Boys Day and the hype was still running high. It wasn’t just this group that got wrapped up in up in the hype, they just happened to be caught on camera,” explained Van Niekerk.
The ‘vosho’ dance has taken South Africa by storm. As Briefly.co.za reported earlier, a video showed a fun-loving man taking a break from Comrades Marathon to do the vosho.
