- Zuma proved to be still popular among Twitter users
Former president Jacob Zuma would get another term in office if South African Twitter users had their way.
A Twitter user, Naledi Brown, asked her followers which former president they would offer another term regardless of their political affiliation.
She accompanied her post with a picture collage of Nelson Mandela, Thabo Mbeki, Kgalema Motlanthe, and Jacob Zuma.
While her followers expressed different preferences, the majority chose Jacob Zuma despite his unceremonious removal from office earlier this year.

Others preferred Thabo Mbeki.
Surprisingly, Nelson Mandela didn't feature strongly.
The overwhelming favourite was Jacob Zuma — and some of the reasons were hilarious.
For some, however, none of the four deserves another term.
