On Wednesday night, it was DJ Tira’s turn in the hot seat as Thusi asked him all the questions his fans had been dying to know.

So, Briefly.co.za took a look at four things tweeps learned about Zodwa Wabantu’s manager.

1. Started at the bottom, now we’re here

Tweeps took to the social media handle to praise Tira for his hard work, which saw him working his way up to go from asking R500 a gig to R70 000.

2. Is he the Gqom King?

Gqom has been taking the South African music scene by storm and many wondered who should receive the honour to be named the genre’s godfather.

When Thusi asked Tira if he should be credited as being the brains behind gqom, the producer gave a humble response.

But, his fans aren’t having it and they took to Twitter to give him the title of the father of gqom.

3. He is actually a nice guy

A lot of times people view celebs the way they are portrayed through the media, but tweeps got to see a side of Tira they never knew he had.

4. Did he try to steal Babes away from Mampintsha?

A lot of people speculated that Tira was the ‘third hand’ Mampintsha was talking about when his drama with Babes Wodumo began.

But, when Thusi asked the producer if he would be managing Babes from now on, he gave a very clear no. In fact, he said he’ll never sign her.

He also said he and Mampintsha drifted apart but he’ll always have love for him.
