There has always been a childish school boy competition between rappers Cassper Nyovest and AKA. The two have sworn to never work together due to the competitive beef between them.

It would be great if bygones could be bygones and the years of rivalry between AKA and Cassper Nyovest could just come to an end. AKA is not sure that that will ever happen.

There has been recent calls for the two to bury the hatchet, but speaking to TshiaLIVE, the Super Mega said that as much as he admires Cass’s business mind, he is not sold on his music skills.

AKA said that he doesn’t think about Cassper even though he respects him as a businessman. He also has respect for the type of entrepreneur his is but is unsure of his respect for him as a musician, reported Times Live.

AKA commented that he does not see the two of them ever collaborating, but soon laughed as it to be a joke.

When asked if he knows what Cassper or anyone else thinks of him, AKA replied that he does not think about what people think of him.

L-Tido took a shot at trying to rekindle the friendship but Cassper responded to the calls telling L-Tido that being friends with AKA was "never gonna happen".

Both AKA and Casper are doing amazing things for South African hip hop, but the game has recently been accused of lacking unity.

Briefly.co.za learn that #TeamAKA vs #TeamCassper, has come a long way and they both have legions of fans. AKA says he is open to working with anyone who is keen and vibes with him.

AKA said that he has especially in the last year, tried to open himself up more to as many young, new people as possible.

He believes that he is currently more approachable that he has ever been in the past. He is more than prepared to work with anyone.

His “industry” family is big and for those people that have done him favours and assisted him to get where he is now, he always has time for them.

AKA shared a few snippets of his upcoming music on his Instagra stories and Cassper Nyovest was not so happy as he said it sounded like his song Turn Up Gang.

It is not the first time AKA and Nyovest had feuded with each other. Nyovest opened up about the beef between him and AKA, saying he is over it.

Let’s hope that the beef between these two will in the near future be put at the back of the fridge for good.
