Thamsanqa is from Ntuzuma in KwaZulu-Natal. He started playing cricket when he was 8. He has represented schools from the region in Under 13, Under 15, and Under 17 teams - all A teams.

Thamsanqa - a brilliant all-rounder - is doing matric at Glenwood High School at the moment. He received a bursary from the Willowton Group.

Mondli is from Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal and this tour will be his first time going overseas. Mondli started playing in 2012. It didn't take long for his talents to show and he has been playing spectacularly since.

His talent also won him a bursary with the Glenwood Preparatory School in grade 7. Maritzburg College also offered him a bursary and he is now doing grade 11 there.

Manager of the Department of Sports and Recreation and Sunfoil Township and Rural Development Programme, Sanelisiwe Kuzwayo, stated that this achievement of the boys is wonderful.

It is also proof that the programme is a success with real results.

Kuzwayo wishes the two boys all the best in their games in England. She added that this is a big moment for both of them and she hopes they will do their best, but also enjoy themselves.

Way to go boys!
