Bonang discussed some of the things that made the social world buzz, and Briefly.co.za decided to make a list of what we learned during the interview.

The Queen's Mentors

Bonang shared who she finds to be her mentors: Khanyi Dlomo, Melanie Bala, Bob Mabena, Andile Ncube, Lupi Ngcayisa, Tumi Rabanye, Basetsana Kumalo, and Unathi.

#IAmBonang

Bonang's name is now associated with the empowerment of women and it became clear when the #IAmBonang trended not too long ago.

The star spoke about it and said that women are called many names just because they choose to do things differently.

She added that she's had enough, but she's standing up for herself.

Briefly.co.za reported on how a man attempted to make Bonang look bad by talking about her "many exes". Bonang gave the man a simple but effective shutdown:

She doesn't compete

Queen B stated that she is in her own league. She does not compete with anyone else.

She only focuses on on bettering herself. She feels the best competition to have is yourself.

She added that competing with others is distracting and takes you away from what you actually want to achieve.

When you compete with yourself you better yourself and whether other people are happy or not it won’t matter.

She does have breakdowns

The Being Bonang star revealed that she has fragile moments too. Although it is hard to believe when you look at her, it happens and she feels it is necessary.

That’s the reason I’m so strong because the breaking down does happen, it just happens around people who care enough to build me back up.

She does not dwell on thinking about DJ Zinhle

Azania wanted to know what Bonang thinks about DJ Zinhle but she kept it neutral. She simply said that she thinks a lot of things about a lot of people.

Clearly the star does not wish to discuss the really private side of her life.

She shies away from fights

Queen B addressed why she doesn't actively fight back when people get rude on social media. She said that she's a Cancer and that means she's soft-hearted.

She stated that she does not like to waste her time on anything that won't benefit her.

No Regrets

Bonang has no regrets about her life. She said she does not regret any of her relationships, the friends she had or the people she connected with. She feels that it was what she wanted at that very moment and that's what matters.

Her fans showed their love on social media:
