There are not many things that hurt as much as losing the person you love, and for Itumeleng Olyn his world was turned upside down the day his girlfriend died.
Every person mourns in his or her own way- some cry, some get depressed, while others show no emotion at all.
However, Olyn found solace in his deceased girlfriend’s wig, which he wears three times a week to help him cope with her death.
“As soon as I wear my dead girlfriend’s wig I feel at peace.”, he explained.
The Daily Sun reported the 34-year-old’s girlfriend, Sheila Dlabu, died after a car run her over at a tombstone unveiling.
Olyn, who hails from Hostel one in Mangaung in Free State, said his bae would wear the wig he bought her in 2017 only on special occasion.
“I had never seen her as happy as she was when I gave it to her”, he recalled.
Olyn said people do not understand why he wears her wig, some think he has gone mad while others believe he might be gay.
But, he added he does not care what people think and he one day wants to be buried in his girlfriend’s favorite wig so that he can give it to her in the afterlife.
