Panyaza Lefusi has come far in his political career, but that does not mean he forgot where he began.
Taking to social media on Thursday, the MEC for Education shared a photo of him acting as Nelson Mandela's bodyguard.

His photo received mixed reactions, but a lot of tweeps praised him for being politically active since he was still young.
"Great one. Question is, they don't make them like they used to. I'm struggling to find young lions in my hood fighting young people's struggles", Kgosietona Ratone wrote.
Dingaan Baloyi added, "Your diligence in your work shows that you learns from the big warrior. Keep bringing that kind of change. I want to see you as a minister of Education in the coming years".
Another tweep added, "Unfortunately you are amongst few who's political potency inspire confidence and today it's more about personal accumulation of wealth as opposed to delivering on so called resolutions.we celebrate you for your efforts in carring what we think of political figures especially ANC".
One social media user just wanted to know whether the white man shook Mandela's hand.
