Lerato K talks about being famous and having to deal with "frenemies"

Lerato K opened up recently about the entertainment industry and the "fake friends" that fame attracts.

She is the type of girl who doesn't hold her tongue and tells it like it is and finds it cringe-worthy to be surrounded by people who only a'ct like they are friends.

For this reason she has been having trouble trying to keep her mouth shut when "fake friends" come around. She is forced to keep quiet to avoid all sorts of drama that could be caused.

She recounted one occasion when her manager over heard one of these "fake friends" saying awful things about her and when her manager told her she couldn't help but say:

"Yo, my manager overhead you talk about me, let’s not fake it."

She doesn't hold any grudges and is focused on moving her career forward and leaving her "frenemies" behind.

She has accomplihed a lot this year and was ecstatic to finally be recognised at the Saftas where she scooped the Best TV Presenter award.
