A Twitter user has paid tribute to South African petrol attendants for being "nice" — even when card payment is declined due to insufficient funds.

Sibusiso shared several photos of attendants along with his tribute recently, Briefly.co.za gathered.

He said the attendants never scream, "Declined!" Instead, they politely blame it on a possible network problem and ask for cash.

Sibusiso's hilarious but heartwarming tweet has gone viral, racking up over 13,000 likes and 6,000 retweets so far.
