Zakwe is a big name in the South African music industry. Aside from dropping tracks, he has now decided to drop some kilos too.

The talented musician has always embraced the bigger things in life, but he has now made the decision to downsize with regards to his weight.

Zakwe’s fans have never minded him being on the bigger side, but he is doing this for himself, reported Times Live.

Briefly.co.za gathered that in an interview with DJ Fresh from Metro FM, he stated that he is a man with a plan and he plans on dropping a considerable amount of weight before summer hits.

Zakwe has already lost an incredible 19kgs since he started dieting several months back. His goal is to lose 24kgs more.

When he started his diet, he weighed 143kgs, making his goal weight to be at least 100kgs or less.

By cutting carbs, eating “clean” and drinking a lot of water, Zakwe has managed to make the change and will continue on this positive journey with the help of his bae.

He has also been exercising like a complete animal in order to burn as much fat as he can. Zakwe stated that gym has become one of his hobbies.

Zakwe highlighted how incredible his queen has been to him in helping with his weight loss journey. He said that he would have never gotten this far without her and she is his motivation.
