American neo-soul icon Erykah Badu is headed to South Africa this summer! The superstar will headline this year’s DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Johannesburg on 23 September. With hit songs “Bag Lady” and “Love Of My Life (An Ode To Hip Hop)”, the amazingly talented and unconventional artist is expected to bring some serious food for the soul and we don’t see any reasons why fans will not to be at DStv Delicious international Food and Music Festival this year.

Briefly.co.za also learned that Badu will be joined by New Zealand’s young soul singer and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei, who recently wowed local fans when he played his first-ever South African gig at The Cape Town Jazz Festival. The musical line-up is further beefed-up by the funk DJ collective, Jazzanova, and the British acid jazz band, D’Influence.
