Penny Penny is a sore loser after failing to nab the top ANC position in Limpopo, the musician added he only wanted what's best for the people.
As Briefly.co.za reported previously, Papa Penny Penny gunned for the Limpopo premier position, but he lost to Stan Mathabatha, who he tried to overthrow in the first place.
The King of disco said he was tired of the inequality and tribalism that has caused a rift between the Limpopo residents.
But, his attempt to overthrow Mathabatha proved to be futile as he lost the elections, which had been attended by President Cyril Ramaphosa and some of his leadership.
Following the outcome of the election, Penny Penny said the process was unfair and he would continue to criticise service delivery and tribalism.
This led to people dubbing him a sore loser, but he fired back saying he only cared about the welfare of the people in Limpopo.
Penny Penny added he did not care that Mathabatha remained the premier, but he should take care of the Limpopo residents.
“He heard the message of what the community wants. He should balance all tribes equally so that everyone in Limpopo can benefit,” he said.
