Actor Fezile Makhanya made a lot of people angry with his character as Tebogo on local soapie The Queen. Two months after leaving the role, it seems that Mzansi is still not ready to forgive.

Fezile still gets stopped on the streets by angry fans who want to vent about his former character. Viewers were upset at Tebogo’s manipulative and abusive behavior on the production. He had the whole country gunning for him and single-handedly revived the hashtag #ManAreTrash.

In a previous interview with Tshisa Live, Makhanya explained that he was nothing like his character. He said he would never hit a woman and the first scene where he had to act abusive was very draining for him. Briefly.co.za gathered that after leaving The Queen, the actor will be taking his time with a return to TV as he was looking for a role that would challenge him the way Tebogo did.
