Mapaseka "Pasi" Koetle-Nyokong, plays the role of Dintle on the TV show, Scandal. Pasi is well aware of the meaning of been ‘broke’. She is very cautious as far as your money is concerned and keeps a close eye on it.
Recently joining the restaurant industry, Pasi has acquired a place in Sandton. She has always saved and invested her money, reported Times Live.
Speaking to Rams Mabote on Metro FM this week, she said she is a realist and if she cannot afford something and has an account she will lay-bye it. If she knows she has not got the money for that specific item she will not but it.
The struggles she faces in the industry she is in, is that people are always comparing. Whether it be the type of car you drive up to the length of weave you have. Her discipline was learnt from her mom, and she knows too well what it’s like to go without.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Pasi said she knows where to draw the line, and she will never buy an expensive car just because she has the money. While she was in her first year of studying all her friends had motor vehicles but she opted not to and walked every day to AFDA.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Pasi discussed her new business venture. She said that she has put a lot into the business and was starting out small.
It was a dream of her and her husband’s to open a restaurant, as they both love cooking and food. It was a very stressful time with the renovations while doing gigs.
The name of the restaurant is Gorge Grab n Go Café at the Sandton Gautrain station. Good luck with your new venture!
