Local is lekker, even when local is on international shores. LA streets were littered with SA talent when our local celebs arrived for the BET Awards.
SA stars included Pearl Thusi, Cassper Nyovest, Nomzamo Mbatha, Nandi Madida, Sjava and Criselda Dudumashe.
Times live reported that these stars did not merely come as spectators to the event. Sjava took home the Viewer’s Choice Best International Act and Cassper Nyovest performed at the event.

Nomzamo Mbatha looked simply stylish for the event.
Sjava kept the SA flag flying high at the event.
Briefly.co.za reported how BET award-winner Sjava received a very warm welcome home from Mzansi after the awards.
Fans were waiting for the star to arrive at OR Tambo International Airport from the United States.
They had balloons, banners, gifts and a whole load of love. It was a truly touching moment, reported ENC News.
In true Mzansi fashion, a lot of love and pride was given to Sjava for making his country so proud.
