- Mpumelelo Bhulose has allegedly been sacked from his role on Imbewu
- A source revealed he was fired for his attitude, for absenteeism and for arriving late
- This is not the first time Bhulose has left a show in less than ideal circumstances
Top actor Mpumelelo Bhulose has been given the boot from Imbewu. That is what a source from the show reportedly told Sowetan.
Apparently the actor has a reputation for his attitude and is known for being a prima donna. Allegedly this did not sit well with the show’s top execs and they have shown him the door.
He was only on the show for two months. The source alleges he was difficult to work with and was fired for absenteeism and late arrivals on set.
"He was fired for missing shoots on numerous occasions. It's the same thing he was fired for at Uzalo including being uncontrollable," they stated.
This is not the first time Bhulose has left a show amidst difficult circumstances.
The actor himself admitted that he left his previous show Uzalo on a sour note.
"I didn't leave Uzalo on good terms. If we had been, we would still be working together. But when people keep saying wrong things about you, that should tell you who has the problem."
"When I give my all in a production, I must be appreciated," Bhulose said in an interview with DRUM at the time.
Many fans will be disappointed at this news as it wasn’t that long ago the Briefly.co.za reported on fan approval in the article Tweeps going crazy over #ImbewuTheSeed actor: Who dat, Morgan Freeman?
In the article Bhulose was included as one of the actors most appreciated by Tweeps on the show.
