Generations The Legacy actor Duma Mnqobi’s contract not renewed

Generations: The Legacy actor Duma Mnqobi, who plays Fana, has been axed from the popular soapie. According to Celeb Gossip, the star’s contract has not been renewed.

“Unfortunately, Duma is being let go, his contract has not been extended because the show’s writers feel there’s nothing they can do with his character. It’s really sad because he loves his job and gets on well with his co-stars, but this is showbiz. There are no guarantees,” an insider told the online publication.

The news were confirmed by Head of public relations at Generations: The Legacy, Gaaratwe Mokhethi, who said, “Fana will be exiting at the end of his contract. But he’ll be on screen until end of November.”
