A young single mom took to Twitter recently to share news of her graduation, sparking a wave of congratulations from tweeps.

Mary, who uses the handle @ThatSamboGirl, shared photos of herself and her son during her graduation, Briefly.co.za learned.

She appeared to pay tribute to herself and her son with the caption, "We made it, baby boy."

The Pretoria-based mom's tweet has gone viral, garnering over 400 retweets and 6,800 likes from inspired tweeps.

They congratulated her on her graduation and praised for setting a great example for single moms in South Africa. See some of their reactions below.
