However, Ndoyosile Kaleni who lives in the Western Cape, turns to his doll for protection.

The Daily Sun reported the 59-year-old has been hanging dolls outside his home for the past 10-years, and not once has any evil entered his house.

According to Kaleni, the dolls scare away witches and other evil people, who would not dare set foot in his house.

Briefly.co.za learned the dolls even give him the power to feel when evil comes near his home, but he refused to explain how they work, just in case some of the people he wants to keep out read the article.

The De Doorns resident said his yard is clean and attractive, but witches are afraid of it. Kaleni added he knows some of the evil people tried to get in, but a sangoma once told him he was protected.

Kaleni uses his time to enlarge photos for people in his community, a skill he learned when he saw work was scarce.

He was previously sentenced to eight-years in jail following a robbery, but he said it was a long time ago and he is not the same man he was then.
