Skolopad made her entrance into the local entertainment industry wearing a yellow dress. Since then she has won the hearts of many.

Even so she has doubts that she will ever get the recognition she was aiming for, reported Times Live.

With the doubts in her mind, Skolopad has taken every avenue in order to keep her name out of bad press. Briefly.co.za learnt that she admits that there is little chance of her getting to where she wants to be in the entertainment industry.

Nonhlanhla Qwabe has a passion and love doing what she does as Skolopad. She said that the time has come for her to realise she will not reach the fame she set out to achieve.

Working hard and proving to everyone she is willing and able to do just about anything, that is putting in the hours of hard work, that she would receive the respect and support from those in the industry. Sadly she was mistaken, as Skolopad found out that all doors were shut in her face.

Trying to build her career and status, she used her popularity in order to develop work relationships within the industry.

Skolopad has on the odd occasion tagged certain people on social media like DJ Tira, Cassper, AKA, DJ Sbu, and Dr Malinga seeking assistance with her career.

Another disappointment for her was that not one of the connections she attempt to make, helped her career in any way. She said that there were times where she stayed positive like the time that Dr Malinga displayed an interest in her singing.

That moment was a ‘finally’ moment giving her hope that something is about to happen, but to her dismay she was kept hanging.

When Skolopad is in the company of Dr Malinga, they are happy to see each other but the conversation they share is never anything to do with her career.

Skolopad said that it’s not that she is giving up, she is just starting to come to terms that her career might never get to the point she was hoping for.

She also said that she has accepted the fact that maybe this is how far she will come. She has had insignificant fame and her fan base is only in her province.

She is appreciative of all those that have shown their support but she is over chasing fame and the celebrity life. She states that is not her giving up only being more realistic and she will just do what she can when she can!
