Nasty C's #StringsAndBling sends Twitter streets into a frenzy

Nasty C dropped his new, highly anticipated album Strings and Bling on Friday morning and it nearly broke Twitter.

Tweeps could not contain their excitement as they waited for the new album to drop, and even before its release in the early morning hours, #StringsAndBling trended on South Africa’s Twitter streets.

Fans tweeted how excited they were about the highly anticipated album, which consist of 17 tracks, TimesLIVE reported. And, when the album finally made its way online, tweeps went berserk.

Black Twitter praised the album, and tweeps added Nasty C was the young king of SA rap music.

Briefly.co.za learned Nasty C took to his Twitter account to tweet how much the album meant to him, then he asked his fans what their favorite lines were in the songs.

“Bruh I feel like crying. THANK YOU #StringsAndBling”, Nasty C wrote on Twitter.

Social media users did not hesitate to share their favorite lines from the album.

He even received praise from some of SA’s most famous rappers, including rivals Cassper Nyovest and AKA.

And, it appears Boity was also excited about the album dropping and she took to Twitter to express her joy that it was finally out.
