Black Twitter wanted Beyonce to come to South Africa, but now that they have their wish, they're not so sure anymore.
It was announced during the weekend that Queen B will be gracing South Africa with her presence and it set social media on fire.
Briefly.co.za learned Beyonce and her hubby would join other big international stars such as Ed Sheeran, Noami Campbell and Oprah Winfrey on 2 December in Johannesburg as part of the Global Citizen Festival to celebrate Madiba’s 100th birthday.
Unsurprisingly the news shook social media with the Beyhive going berserk over their queen coming to South Africa.
One social media user wrote, :#Beyonce , YOU BETTER COME! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR A "MAYBE". YOU BETTER COME BECAUSE I AM READY."
However, not everyone is sure Beyonce coming to South Africa is such a great idea. Some felt they don't want her here since she has done nothing for the country, while others feel the current state of South Africa is not something to be proud of.
It soon sparked a Twitter war between Queen B's South African fans and other citizens, who did not want her here.
