The former Public Protector has certain views on what’s going to happen to people who steal from the poor and she decided to share it on social media.

Madonsela, who was behind the state capture report that placed the spotlight on the Guptas and their bffs, Jacob and Duduzane Zuma, believes those who loot from the poor should have a special place in hell.

“I increasingly believe that there should be a special place in hell for people who steal from the poor”, she wrote on Twitter.

Her tweet received an overwhelming response from social media users, who could not agree with her more.

Briefly.co.za saw Jackson Mthembu, the ANC’s chief whip, said those responsible for stealing should face the consequences here on earth.

However, it prompted a tweep to roast the ANC chief whip for supporting the New Dawn, which had thus far only made empty promises.

There were those who then directed their anger to Madonsela, accusing her of protecting people who stole from the poor.

Sizwe Ndu Madlopha said, “But really I don't understand some people. Look you just tweeted a tweet that directly speaks to you. You might have not directly stole from the poor but you overlooked on many cases of people who did. A lot of evidence was presented to you but you chose to ignore.”
