Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Beyoncé and her hubby would join other big international stars such as Ed Sheeran, Noami Campbell and Oprah Winfrey on 2 December in Johannesburg as part of the Global Citizen Festival to celebrate Madiba’s 100th birthday.

One of Beyoncé's unlikely South African fans recently shared his excitement by tweeting about selfies with Queen Bey.

South African politician Fikile Mbalula left South Africans unsure of how they feel about his enthusiasm.

While some tweeps found it funny, others thought he should leave gushing over the star to his kids.
