Social media users dubbed Patrice Motsepe a national hero after he managed to get Beyoncé and Jay Z to come to South Africa.
Remember when Patrice Motsepe brought Lionel Messi and Barcelona to SA to play against the Mamelodi Sundowns? Well, now the South African millionaire managed to book Beyoncé and Jay Z.
When Motsepe brought Messi and his team to SA, tweeps said he was SA last hope of getting Queen B in South Africa, and they were not lying.
And, this made him a national hero on the streets of Twitter, with South Africans managing to get #PatriceMotsepe to trend on social media.
So, in honour of Twitter’s appreciation of Motsepe, Briefly.co.za gathered some of the best tweets under #Patrice Motsepe.
Tweeps dubbed Motsepe the “real president of South Africa”, we wonder how his brother-in-law Cyril feels about that one.
One tweep felt the billionaire was capable of bringing anyone to South Africa, even if it meant he had to raise them from the dead first.
“Patrice Motsepe could bring us back Michael Jackson if he really wanted to.”, a tweep added.
It did not take long for tweeps to suggest the Cape Town International Airport should be renamed after Motsepe instead.
