Social media users were left shook after a tweep posted photos of Seshego hospital on his Twitter account.
Seladi Moetjie took to social media to share a few photos of the condition patients face at the Seshego hospital in Polokwane.
Moetjie addressed the post to South African health minister Aaron Motsoaledi, whom he urged to make a “surprise visit” to the health care facility.
“Dear Aaron Motsoaledi I challenge you now! Go visit Seshego Hospital anytime. Just make a suprise visit! This is the situation patients are faced with! Worse is that even security guards are very rude! The infrastructure is dilapidated you can see flr yourself! Regards”, he captioned the horrific photos.
Briefly.co.za learned social media users were left dumbfounded by the photos, as they could not believe a hospital would look like that.
Happy Maziya wrote, “What is our tax money used for, when hospitals are like this?”
Other social media users pointed out all state-owned hospitals should receive surprise visits.
Moetjie agreed with the tweet, adding: “I totally agree with you and it is a pity that our fellow South Africans are not aware of platforms like Twitter to expose this situations! Because talking to management is just a waste of time! They do not see anyone not unless you have put on a tie and smelling good.”
