It is not everyday one sees a car worth more than a million rand, especially not if you live in an area where such luxuries are rare sightings.
So, when a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, which retails at over R1.6 million in South Africa, rolled into a KwaNongoma neighborhood, residents lost their cool.
Taking to social media, a tweep shared a hilarious video of people of KwaNongoma’s reactions when a G-Wagon made its way to their town.
“When a G-Wagen arrives KwaNongoma, KZN,” @uNdlunkulu_Xoli captioned the post.
She then went on to share the reactions of people who got in the luxury SUV, adding one lady’s reaction was unmatched.
Within only a few hours since being uploaded on Wednesday, the video managed to gather over 13 000 views.
Briefly.co.za learned the women had a taxi stop so that they could see the G-Wagen up close.
@MzwandileNkabs added when a man has money, women would go to extreme lengths to be with him, “The power of money, women will even stop taxis for you.”
“Did those girls just stop antire taxi just to glance at a G-wagon shuu.. Haai they'll never make it in Gauteng,” @Thabo1_RSA commented.
Whether or not the video has actually been taken in KwaNongoma has not been verified. Some tweeps indicated both the taxi and G-Wagen had GP number plates.
