Social media can bring two people together and we often hear of people who found their soulmates online.
And, one guy believed he found his future wife on Twitter, so he took to the social media platform and asked for her hand in marriage.
However, he needs 10 000 retweets for her to agree to tie the knot, which leaves the future of his love life in the hands of tweeps.
The man, who goes by the Twitter handle @N0chillinmzasi, captioned the post, “So like guys , I saw this beautiful lady , decided to DM and she wants 10k RT for me to have her. Can you help me fulfill my dream?”
However, some tweeps felt they were not going to help @N0chillinmzansi for mahala, they at least want a stop as a bridesmaid or groomsmen.
Briefly.co.za learned apparently @N0chillinmzansi had no issues with having 10k groomsmen and bridesmaids.
One tweep thought he could one up @N0chillinmzansi by getting 100k retweets.
Some social media users were confused about the new concept of getting RTs for a person to marry you, they wondered if retweets all of the sudden replaced lobola?
