Parody account Man’s Not Barry Roux took to the social media platform to share a screenshot of a photo the NYDA’s Twitter account liked.

“From tombstone to liking ass. NYDA must respect us,” he captioned the post.

Social media users were quick to respond to Man’s Not Barry Roux’s post, adding the person who liked the photo probably forgot to switch accounts.

Social media user @AkhazaPulse wrote, “NYDA is busy with nonsense instead of giving us opportunities.”

One tweep, Mokoena Masemola, added it was nothing new, the NYDA never took South Africans serious.

Another tweep shared a hilarious meme, adding the NYDA’s admin also has feelings.

However, one social media user pointed out the account which liked the photo might not be a verified account of the NYDA.

In his post, Man’s Not Barry Roux mentioned a tombstone, which refers to that of slain struggle icon Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu.

As Briefly.co.za reported previously, South Africans were enraged after NYDA chairperson Sifiso Mtsweni had his name inscribed on the struggle icon’s tombstone. https://briefly.co.za/14132-nyda-donation-wording-struggle-icons-tombstone-a-twitter-storm.html#14132

The EFF’s Floyd Shivambu shared a picture of the tombstone and said NYDA is desperate to be relevant.
