Pretty Nobathembu was hit by a drunk driver when she was only three-years-old, and the incident left her wheelchair bound for the rest of her life.
However, despite the ordeal, Nobathembu grew up to become a beautiful and inspirational young lady.
Taking to social media, social media user @jn_shine shared her friend’s touching story.
“My Friend @prettyNomzi was hit by a drunk driver at the age of 3 years, she survived even made it out of a coma. Look at her now, she's a beautiful Queen. God is Wonderful,” she captioned the post.
Nobathembu also took to Twitter to share her story in a video. She explained she was on her way to church with her siblings when a driver just ran her over.
She explained it felt like a scene out of an action movie. Briefly.co.za learned she sustained several injuries, including internal bleeding.
And, she almost passed away in the hospital. Nobathembu praised God for saving her life when the incident took place and for keeping her safe in the hospital.
“God has been great, God has been good. He’s been there for me, he has been there with me. He raised me!” she said in her video.
Her story inspired other social media users, who praised her for her faith and strength.
