With the recent reveal of the new "Randela" notes featuring Neslon Mandela's life story on South Africa's bank notes Black Twitter has been wondering what our money would look like with other struggle icons.
An inventive Twitter user posted a picture with portraits of other struggle veterans drawn onto notes to show what they might have looked like on our money.
Briefly.co.za discovered that Twitter users responded with delight at the idea and the post ended up being a mixture of admiration and debate over the history of the nation.
One user suggested that the R200 note should have someone extra special.
This user suggested that is was a great idea and an opportunity to teach real history to the youth.
Another user proposed that they should be mentioned in Parliament.
This unfortunate user was lamenting the cost of living.

The new banknotes featuring Nelson Mandela were launched in commemoration of 100 years of Nelson Mandela. The notes show Mandela's life from his upbringing in the Eastern Cape, his incarceration and his presidency.
