MTN's rising data costs irk users: 'Who’s leaving MTN with me'

One of South Africa's biggest mobile networks recently announced a price increase for data and it left South Africans bitter

MTN shared on social media that their WhatsApp bundle price would increase. The bundle would no longer be R10 for 1GB, but R30.

South Africans responded almost immediately to the news. Many decided to leave MTN and urged others to follow them.

Telkom seems to be a favourite with those who decided they've had enough of MTN.
